The potential within Esme and Tia's performance is limitless. The way they used music and light to shape their performance and create a captivating physical representation is amazing. Each delicate move lead to another and the use of light created two shadows, which crafted a greater whole image and effect. As the two merged into one another the shadows collided and shaped different interpretation and meaning depending on the audience member. This means the story has changed and developed a rhythmic fluidity which the girls can add to and repeat. The piece is experimental because the girls saw inspiration from an art piece and used it as a stimulus to create their final product. The use of multi media's add to the experimental aspects as they build on the effect of the performance and that your imagination can create a theatrical performance. I think an audience member looking at this performance would be significantly drawn in and want to follow the story throughout the whole piece. Also, It was force them to commit their full attention to the piece as the slow movement from the actors are soft and intimate. You can see both actors have used Grotowski's work to inspire their piece through the delecacy of each transistion and movement of their body.
